Episode 4: Drinking In the New Year
Podcast: Play in new window | Download
Dave and James wrap up Christmas with an update on the nerf guns, the water pistols and a new trampoline. We find out whether Dave’s wife did like her last-minute Christmas present after all, and we explore some of the dumbest moments of business in 2008. With things this stupid, we can only hope that 2009 makes us a little wiser.

Haha… I can see Dave running around shooting his kids with the Nerf gun. It’s always funny until it happens to you!

Regarding Xmas. I tend to take the lady furniture shopping for hours and hours before and after. Just shoot down everything she wants “sorry honey it does not match”….
Works well. She’s happy you spent time shopping with her and you spend nothing.

Interesting that after our conversation in the last show, Steve Jobs has sent out another message about his health, and in particular his reason for missing the MacWorld keynote in SF: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Letter-From-Apple-CEO-Steve-prnews-13962092.html

@Eric let’s hope that your wife doesn’t read the Two Schooners blog, otherwise she’ll be on to your very cunning tactics. ;)
