I used to be in Forestry… I did all sorts of chainsaw safety and such. I even have special chainsawing pants with kevlar in them! (And I’m not sure that Dave should be allowed to operate a chainsaw.)

Good show.
Thanks for the invite to the Belgian Beer CafĂ© but I won’t be able to make it as it’s a bit too far from Melbourne.
Dave we’re going to have to report you to the RSPCA over the abuse that you’re giving that cat of yours.
James, what’s the obsession with the Leyland Bros. You’ve mentioned it on the show and even Tweeted a link to Youtube of a Leyland bros episode. Secret crush on Mike and Mal?
Regarding the tax on flavoured/sweet beer. I read that the govt is proposing this because some smart cookies worked out that lolly tasting beer doesn’t attract the alcopop tax, therefore making it cheaper.

The Leyland Brother's YouTube link on twitter was about the same time we recorded the show, so it was first the mention then me going after a youtube reference.
As for Mike and Mal, those two Aussie Novocastrian legends with broken axels, I think I'll have to send them in after the floods to search for The Rooster.
I remember watching telly as a 4,5 & 6 year old thinking "this is crap tv, and yet strangely fascinating!" I still think that way.
