Hair ClippersWell it’s D-Day for Dave when the razors come out and Dave faces the music, a very buzzy music, and he let’s the nuts have it. By the end of this episode you’ll be hugging your lucky-poo and thanking the stars above that this is not a video podcast as he let’s the nuts have it! There’s all manner of bag-swag in todays show including firey swingers, lemon myrtle flavoured beer and cross dressing sons of dead mothers.  Yes, it’s unsavoury, but it’s exactly what you’ve come to expect of Two Schooners – this is Episode 25 “Camel Nuts”  – hang on for dear life, it’s going to be quite a journey!

  1. This is still my favorite BK commercial… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nopKDuydRo

Lots of body noises in this episode, you’ll be losin the female audience members! Wait…are there any female audience members out there? Probably not.

Re the beer truck; It’s OK, it was American beer, so the swamp probably had more alcoholic content than the beer did…

Re Victoria’s boobs; I found it amusing that there’s an “enlarge +” tag right over her boob on pic #2. At least those would keep her afloat in the pool, I reckon!

Oh, and I found this instructional video for Dave; http://is.gd/1odil

But you have to watch out for embarrassing moments like this; http://is.gd/1odn2

I found another amusing pic…but I decided not to post a link cuz I thought it might be a bit too risqué for this forum.

I enjoy me a poppy seed bagel! Apparently there have been people in the US who, when having one of those “random drug tests,” have tested positive for opiates because they had been eating poppy seeds on their bagels, etc.

Apparently I should’ve read the Wikipedia entry on Alaska more thoroughly! When I got to “Britain” I stopped and assumed that Canada owned Alaska! Silly me. It was apparently claimed by the Spanish, Britain AND Russia at different points and Britain “lost interest” in it…

Maybe I just need more “prep” next time…

  6. If there was going to be a person that was THE first to put a comment on the new blog it was always going to be Herne…

  7. Hi Guys,
Another fantastic episode. I love listening to you on the train heading into work, laughing is common – so too the stares from concerned commuters ;)

    Cheers

  9. Thanks for all the comments guys – it’s great to be on the new site too, makes it much easier to manage the posts. I’ve got a question of the community on a WordPress tech thing. Has anyone got a good suggestion for a Delicious widget, that will allow me to display the latest ’2schooners’ tags (e.g. The Bag), but not just the ones from my delicious account? Hoping someone might have a suggestion for this one. Cheers, James

PS. Looking forward to FINALLY meeting @The_Rooster this weekend in Sydney. If you’re in Sydney, don’t forget to come out to the Bavarian Bier Cafe on Friday night. J.

  10. Hey James you should have thrown that question my way!

Personally I don’t know of a widget – but what I would do is add an RSS feed to the sidebar for the tag #2schooners off of delicious and it looks like that’s what you’ve done… Having said that there may well be a decent widget that looks good.

I would also mirror James’ comments in that I really appreciate the comments and am looking forward to meeting James! If you have a chance drop in and share a beer with us we would be stoked if you were to join us!! If you can’t make it I am pretty sure that we are going to be sending the odd drunken tweet :) Make sure your following us!

Hope everyone enjoys the most awesome new site :)

Oh and almost forgot – Welcome Sal to the listener fold and *Rasberry* to Herne who speculated that we had no ladies listening – That makes a confirmed 3!!!!
