Two Schooners #035: Esky roving reporters and beer
Podcast: Play in new window | Download
This the latest and greatest episode where we attempt to do comedy… In Episode 35 of Two Schooners we introduce our esky reporters, grasping their beer coolers in one hand and their mics in the other to bring you their version of the world on location and live! Straight into your ear buds and into your neurons. Today you’ll get to meet (in their official capacity of esky reporter) Knightwise (@knightwise), Kyle (@gtpodcast) and Matt (@matt88).
Of course we’ll also feature the usual shit that you guys have come to know and love!
Here’s what we covered in this show:

Just wanted to let everyone know that the preliminary pathology report is negative (that’s good). No tumor cells were seen on microscopy. Still waiting for another test which tests for ones that might be hiding, should get those results early next week.

So far so good Dave, great news Dave.
On another note. When I was giving my report as a roving reporter I talked about rotating home brews. What I meant was that we drink the 22 dozen in 4 months and hence rotate the bottles from empties to full ones. There has not been any rotating of actual beer bottles as that would stir up any sediment.
Here is a picture of a typical box that we use to store the beer in (a wine box because my dad likes wine too) http://imgur.com/gIhVy.jpg
Dad puts the day/month on each box and crosses out the last one. You can see that this box has hosted over 30 different brews dating back to last century! This is a great historical record of backyard beer brewing.

@Matt88 I always find it easier to just use 2 litre bottles for the beer…
@Dave Glad to hear the good news, Dave! Looking forward to more good news next week!

I’ve been enjoying Two Schooners for some time but I really enjoyed this show when I listened to it today. On top of that logging on to the blog and seeing that Dave got good results is fantastic!! I am adding you to my Skype contacts.
When I lived in Brisbane back in the dark ages (1964-1969) there were a lot of Aussie words (like rubber and napkin) that had different meanings in the U.S. Do you still use those words wrong? :-)
