Astrology is based on the idea that some signs work well together, and others conflict. You can see this just by reviewing the ‘tribe’ described in the opening paragraphs or by considering the elements each sign belongs to. The angles in astrology are one way to pin these differences and similarities down. Because a horoscope contains 12 signs with 30 degrees each, it’s a wheel showing 360 degrees – all of which can be cut into geometrical shapes. Think about triangles and squares, half-triangles and so on…but in this case they all have ancient, proper, astrological names. Some of these geometric shapes show flow. Some show blockages.
