iTunes doesn’t love Chill
I received an email from iTunes this morning saying that the Lifestyle Chill feed had been rejected from the iTunes store.
The podcast located at the URL shown below has been blocked or removed from the iTunes directory as a result of technical problems with the feed.
Name: Lifestyle Chill
Feed URL: http://www.mediumevents.com.au/podcast/lifestylechill/feed/rss.xmlIf you wish to reactivate your podcast in the iTunes directory, please troubleshoot your feed and check the functionality of each episode. To test your podcast, start iTunes, select Subscribe to Podcast from the Advanced menu, and enter your feed URL in the dialog box. If you can successfully subscribe to your podcast and listen to each of the episodes, you can reactivate your podcast by resubmitting the feed using the Submit a Podcast page, https://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.woa/wa/publishPodcast.
The strange thing about this podcast is that I immediately resubmitted it to iTunes and it was immediately accepted. So there was nothing wrong with the podcast feed as Apple asserted.
In any case this is just by way of explanation as to why it will be missing from the Lifestyle PodNetwork lineup in iTunes (if any of you happened to be looking).
By the way, thank you everyone for listening to the show. It seems that we have about 200 regular listeners to Lifestyle Chill which is absolutely amazing.
More shows out soon,
James

Following on from the post, iTunes eventually got their act together and re-enabled the Lifestyle Chill podcast in the store, after a long 72 hour wait.
