Google Chrome Browser out today

Well we’re all sitting here patiently waiting for the timezone to click-over in the US so that we can see the release of Google’s new opensource browser beta Chrome.

I was reading the press release on the Google blog and the comic on the Google blog this morning, and it seems to have some innovative stability and security features, that if implemented well will fit hand-in-glove with Google’s application suite.

Initially Google Chrome will only be available for PC beta, although they promise they are working hard on versions for other operating systems.

The browser can be downloaded from the Google website.

  2. I think you’re right movie_buff, Google has the ability to dominate a market much the same as Microsoft with IE. I guess it is all Open Source…
