  5. Good opening effort guys…I don’t know if I just missed it, but since there is such an active tourney scene, you might want to dedicate a couple of minutes to highlighting some of them. Especially the GW Majors, or the larger ones.

I am from the US, and while we do not have the turnout of some of the UK Tournies…I will be attending ZlurpeeBowl V on 7/11. This is the largest in North America and is worthy of a mention.

    Just a thought ;)

    Looking forward to more.

  10. It might be helpful to include links to all the sites you mention(like your league site or the league software creator site) since some of us have very bad memories. Maybe down below the sponsers so the sponsers still get the top billing they pay for.

    Nice first go

  14. Great show ! I was told that Australian accent is hard to understand for foreigners, but I was surprised it’s not that hard to hear your guys.

I got the video game. I never played the board game before. By the way, as Cyanide studio is a French studio, so it got released first in boxed DVD version in France.

In the video game, you have a “classical” mode, which is the exact replica of the board game and the “blitz” mode, which can be played turn-based or real-time. Except from the fact that “blitz” mode can be played on real time, there is more inducement.

Well, I read through the LRB5, and the difference between the vid game and the board game is mainly that in the vid game, in the classical mode there are only 3 inducements you can get : bribe, extra reroll and extra apothecary. Some others (wizard, bloodweisser Babe) can only be found on blitz mode (in addition of some specialy implemented by Cyanide, like you can dope some players with agility or strengh potions).

And as you said in the podcast, there are only 8 team available. I would like to try the vampire team or the Nurgle team, though they may be chalenging to play…
