Tackle Zone Radio #002 – Know Your Role
Podcast: Download (Duration: 1:34:40 — 86.7MB)
The team is free from Swine Flu and brings you a very long episode to make up for lost time.
This episode Shawn and Matt discuss player roles in TnT (Tips and Tactics)
They focus on what players ‘do’ not what positions they play. Through handy hints on how each role works and skill suggestions, you can try and make your team a force of specialists that are feared in your league.
The roles Shawn and Matt cover are:
The Handler
The Scorer
The Sacker
The Killer
The Winger
The Bomberor The Dumper
The Fouler
In the second segment, The Lockeroom, Matt interviews Shawn about what it’s like to be a organiser aka Da Commish of a Blood Bowl league. Shawn gives handy suggestions for budding and established commishs alike on how to start up and maintain a healthy league in your area.
As always the guys end the show with Coaches Corner which was a little rushed this week due to the long show runtime and the fact they had so many games to cover. Expect some fun Squigball anecdotes in the next episode.

STOP THE PRESSES!!!!
In this week’s episode, Matthew was talking about Tackle Zone Radio trying to get press access to Gen Con Oz (www.genconoz.com) He has since talked to Ian over at Gen Con Oz and TZR WILL be attending and going interviews as well as coverage of the Blood Bowl tournament this year.
So if you are coming to Brisbane, Australia for Gen Con Oz 2009 and/or are participating in the two-day Blood Bowl tournament, let us know and we’ll try to get you on air :)
ALSO, Matthew has been researching the possibility of TZR merchandise. He’s pretty sure he’s got the right service in mind but wants to hear what sort of things you want the TZR logos and lovely drawings on. Let him know here as a comment or via email as always: tacklezoneradio@gmail.com.

Offensive/defensive lineman are the guys in american football most likely to be just shoving around the line. Linebackers are closer to blitzers whose jobs are to go andf get the ball carriers.
Nice Show. A little long though.

Is it possible to get a list of recommended skills for each position? I love the podcast, but having to listen to an hour’s worth of show to go back and get a skill is a chore :)
