Shawn and Matt have spoken about the Dungeonbowl, which doubles as the mid-season invitational at BABBL.  They’ve posted the rules here at TackleZoneRadio.com but here is some Q&A, or call it a FAQ if you will, about the Dungeonbowl and the changes to some of the rules for the game.

1. Player has Stand Firm, and Standing upon a chest with out attempting to open it?  How can you move him if no Juggernaut, etc.

 Entering a Chest Square will end a players action. You then roll to see if the chest has the ball. So you may not ignore attempting to open it.

2. Is the post match sequence different in any way?

Double winnings for all teams. Plus the team who scores will obviously be the winner, the team they score against will be the loser, the two other teams will both Draw 0-0

3.Players that Teleport twice in a single turn are said to have to make a “Injury roll” does that mean they are placed prone on the result of stunned?, and spending turns opon that pad(meaning more teleports meaning more Injuries?).

Yes they are placed prone upon the pad but you only roll once per team turn… So I teleport twice and get stunned, if I teleport a third time I don’t roll again. But since I’m stunned I can’t get off the pad… So in the next teams turn I could port twice and be injured again

4. If a player is pushed onto a Pad do they teleport? same as Prone players? Frenzy I’d assume would work the same?

You will port off the pad if you were pushed on to it, leaving your attacker behind. If you are on a pad and pushed off, you attacker could follow up and then port away

5. If more than 1 team is able to make a intercept, do they all make Intercept attempts?

Yes starting with the Team who has the closest ‘Intercepting’ player to the thrower (Or roll off if equal)

6. I’d also assume that Tackle zones will count from all players for passing\dodging\catching\Picking up the ball?

Yes, all opposing TZs will attract penalties. (6 never fails though)

7. Moving around corners how does it work does it work? (considering there are walls to think about.)

Diagonal movement is allowed as normal.

8. Does a player that stands up(On a pad) still have to pay the extra 1 movement to leave a Pad?

Yes, 3 to get up and another 2 to get off

9.If a “corridor” is very crowded and there a numerous players from each team and it results in players being pushed into one another, how does that work? the same as if pushing someone “In to Touch” ie it has to be the last option?, and secondly is this player knocked prone?

It is treated as normal… If there is an available ‘On Pitch’ square you must target that square with your pushback. You may not push some one into a wall unless there are no squares available (same as the sideline). So… you may ‘plan’ to push someone into a wall by crowding around them.

10.Is the pregame done the same way ie Cards, Spiraling expenses, and the such?

Yes, all teams compare against the team with the highest Value and receive inducement cash as applicable. (other than the fact you may not induceStars, Merc’s  nor Babes) It is possible to draw a card that is useless, but that’s just bad luck! Corruption is rife!

11.When a player is pushed into a wall and a casualty is suffered, are 2 SPPs awarded to the blocking player?

No
