AUSTRALIA

Tournament Name:  The BrisVegas Bowl aka Gen Con Oz Blood Bowl 2-day Tournament
Location: Gen Con Oz – Brisbane Convention Centre, Brisbane, Queensland
When It Is: 19th and 20th of September
Rules Used:

  • Resurrection Tournament – your team is reset after each game.
  • LRB 5 rules (http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m1310002_BB_Complete_Blood_Bowl_Rulebook.pdf )
  • Games will be played on ‘Swiss’ style system.
  • You have 1,200,000 Gold Pieces to buy your team, all of which must be spent.
  • Three ‘experimental’ races, Slann, Chaos Pact, & Underworld are allowed.
  • You must have a minimum of 11 players (including Star Players) on your roster.
  • Each player (excluding Star Players) may be given one skill on the following conditions:
  • You may give as many players as you like a skill available to them on a ‘normal’ improvement roll for a cost of 20k each skill.
  • You may give a total of two players a skill available on a ‘doubles’ improvement roll for a cost of 40k each skill, but each individual player may still only have one extra skill total.
  • All inducements, (excluding special play cards) are permitted to be purchased within the 1,200k limit.Cost to Participate: AU$40/$50 (entry into Gen Con Oz and access to the other events) + $20 (entry into Blood Bowl tournament) Check out www.genconoz.com for details.

    Rules Used: LRB 6 ( LRB5 + BBRC 2008 )so includes all the new teams and the experimental BBRC rules as discussed in TZR #03

    On the Saturday night is a coaches dinner, entirely voluntary get together after day one to commiserate or cheer, eat a good meal and hang out with some great guys.
